Tankcontainers are particularly suitable for door-to-door transport, namely the transportation of goods from factory to customer, because the transport is independent of the connection to certain modes of transport.

Tankcontainers are primarily used for the transport of liquid and temperature-controlled products in the chemical, oil and gas industry. Costs for loading and unloading are minimized, as the product is being transported in the tankcontainer as one unit and does not have to be loaded and unloaded from one tank to another. At the same time tankcontainer transports offer a maximum of flexibility and safety which is imperative for the transport of chemical products.
